One of five men wanted for the abduction of Joshua David has surrendered to the Police.
The News Room was reliably informed that Osafo Peters, known as Saddest, turned himself into Police Monday afternoon.
The other suspects are: Aaron Alleyne called Cats, Alpha Poole, Wayne Barker, and Dwayne Griffith.
Earlier Monday, the Guyana Police Force’s Corporate Communications Department Head, Mark Ramotar told reporters that searches continue at Buxton, East Coast Demerara and “other places” for David.
The man was abducted while purchasing food on Main Street, Georgetown last week.
On Saturday and Sunday, police deployed drones and used sniffer dogs likely trained to find human remains in the backlands of Buxton.
The searches were carried out based on intelligence but after two days of intense probing, nothing of evidential value was unearthed.
