Courts Optical Pee Wee U-11 football set for September 21 kick-off

A draft list of 35 schools has been assembled for the annual Courts Optical Pee Wee football tournament, starting September 21 at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown.

The 11th Under-11 competition was officially launched on Friday afternoon in the city, with the Petra Organisation unveiling details of the competition at Courts Main Street location.

The tournament, which was won by St. Pius Primary in 2023, will conclude on November 2.

At the launch, stakeholder representatives spoke on the importance of the tournament in shaping the next generation of players.

Region Two: Tapakuma Lake Primary and Kabakaburi Primary

Region Three: Genesis, Tuschen Primary, Den Amstel, Leonora Primary

Region Four (East Bank): Soesdyke Primary and St. Mary’s Primary

Region Four (East Coast): Ann’s Grove Primary, Plaisance Primary, Golden Grove Primary and Friendship Primary

Region Five: Rosignol Primary

Region Six: All Saints Primary and St. Aloysius Primary

Region Seven: Potaro Primary, St. John the Baptist and Botavia Primary

Region 10: One Mile Primary

Georgetown: Sophia Primary, Redeemer Primary, F.E. Pollard Primary, North Georgetown Primary, Marian Academy, Winfer Garden Primary, St. Pius Primary, West Ruimveldt Primary, Tucville Primary, Enterprise Primary, St. Gabriel’s Primary, Colacco, School of the Nation and Georgetown International Academy
