The Kares One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast, set to begin on August 3rd, has secured additional sponsorship with Giftland OfficeMax and Sankar’s Auto Works joining the roster.
Giftland OfficeMax is extending a 10% discount (excluding gym equipment and sale items) to all team members (players and officials) who visit their stores wearing or presenting their team jerseys.
Fans can also get their hands on exclusive tournament merchandise available only at Giftland. This promotion runs until the tournament concludes on August 25th.
Roy Beepat, Chairman of the Giftland Group, expressed strong support for the tournament’s “One Guyana” theme. “I fully endorse the ‘One Guyana’ concept,” Beepat stated. “It signifies unity, which is crucial. We are One Guyana, and I love the message.”
He reiterated Giftland’s commitment to supporting activities that foster community development.
More so, Sankar’s Auto Works, established in 1993 and a recent sponsor of Valvoline Brand Ambassador Shimron Hetmyer, has added their name to the list of supporters, further demonstrating their dedication to the popular sport of tapeball cricket in Guyana.
The stakes are rising for the 32 participating teams, promising a fierce competition. This year’s edition boasts a larger prize pool, with G$1.5 million awarded to the champions, G$500,000 to the runners-up, and G$250,000 consolation prizes for losing semifinalists.
