Two of four bandits who attempted to rob a Chinese supermarket on Hadfield Street, Georgetown on Tuesday night was shot and killed by a security guard.
The identities of the dead men is yet to be determined.
The News Room was informed that the robbery occurred about 19:30hrs at Jai Jai Chinese supermarket located on Hadfield Street, Georgetown.
Information so far revealed that four bandits entered the supermarket and carried out the crime.
During the process, a 35-year-old security guard who is attached to a private firm and guards the supermarket, responded and fatally wounded two of the men.
Ranks are currently at the scene. More details will be provided in a subsequent report.
