City businessman Azruddin Mohamed is currently in Police custody and is being questioned in relation to alleged threats issued by him to a drone operator over the weekend.
The News Room was reliably informed that Mohamed was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.
Mohamed, the News Room was told, is being interviewed after he is accused of threathening a drone operator. The drone operator himself was detained over the weekend for flying a drone on the East Bank Demerara.
The report of the alleged threat was lodged by the drone operator while he was in custody.
Mohamed is in custody at the Ruimveldt police station in Georgetown.
