Chirosyn Canada Inc., a Guyanese-owned, Canadian-based pharmaceutical company, is marking its 15th anniversary in Guyana by sponsoring a Cardiology and Endocrinology Symposium and launching the “Dr. Cheekoori’s Charitable Foundation”.
Founded in 2010 by Tarlika Persaud and Dr. Sreedhar Cheekoori, Chirosyn Canada Inc. began as a distributor of prescription medicines.
The company later expanded into pharmaceutical manufacturing through its independently owned factory in India, exporting prescription, over-the-counter, and patented medicines globally.
In 2016, Chirosyn launched the Dr. Cheekoori brand in Guyana, offering vitamin formulations specifically tailored for the Caribbean population.
The symposium is scheduled for this Sunday (March 16) at the Guyana Pegasus Hotel.
