Mahaica Determinators FC has secured a place in the semi-finals of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) 2025 Season 7 Elite League Playoffs with a convincing 4-1 victory over Paradise Invaders FC.
The Determinators dominated their opening match at the Rosignol Community Centre Ground, dashing the Invaders’ hopes of qualifying for the next season.
Travon Adams led the charge for the East Coast team, scoring two goals in quick succession just before half-time. Adams found the net in the 42nd and 44th minutes, giving the Determinators a commanding lead going into the break.
Despite Eric Calendar pulling a goal back for Paradise Invaders in the 53rd minute, the Determinators remained in control. Late goals from Julius Hamilton (88th minute) and substitute Nicholas Daw (90th minute) sealed the victory and confirmed their place in the next round.

The GFF Elite League Playoffs continue on January 12, at the Uitvulgt Community Centre Ground with two further matches:
Pele FC vs Agricola Red Triangle
Uitvulgt Warriors vs Potaro Strikers FC
