Kevlon Anderson and Thaddeus Lovell made an impression on day one of the Guyana Harpy Eagles’ Four-Day pink-ball practice match at the National Stadium, Providence.
On Thursday, Anderson scored 69 while Lovell took 5-45 in 12.3 overs.
At the close of play, Kemol Savory’s XI was 26-1 in response to Tagenarine Chanderpaul’s 230 all out.
Anderson struck ten fours in a patient knock from 147 balls, while Jonathan Van Lange made an unbeaten 41 (8x4s) from 48 balls.

Shamar Yearwood (30), Tagenarine Chanderpaul (24), and Ushardeva Balgobin (20) also got starts but didn’t go on for a big score.
Ashmead Nedd (2-22) and Isai Thorne (2-44) were also among the wickets.
Day two is scheduled to commence at 14:00h.
The second practice match, at the National Stadium, is from January 15.
Both matches are being held to prepare the Guyana Harpy Eagles for the Regional Four-Day, which begins on January 29. The opening match will be at Providence, where they will play Barbados Pride.
More so, this season, Cricket West Indies has reintroduced day/night Four-Day matches.
