One day after a 26-year-old man was involved in an accident along the Land of Canaan Public Road, East Bank Demerara (EBD), he succumbed to injuries at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
Dead is Steve Chan of Friendship, EBD.
Chan was reportedly speeding in his motor pickup when he lost control and crashed into a signboard within the vicinity of the Falls Gas Station. The News Room understands that the accident occurred on Tuesday and Chan died on Wednesday. CCTV also captured when the accident occurred.
The 26-year-old never regained consciousness. Police investigations into this accident are ongoing.
Families and friends have taken to social media to mourn the young man.
