Andray Wilson, 47, of Middle Walk, Victoria, East Coast Demerara (ECD) succumbed to stab wounds he received during an argument on October 24.
Police Headquarters reported that the suspect, a taxi driver is in custody.
According to the Police report, Wilson known as “Puchie,” a consultant at the Ministry of Health, reportedly called the suspect a false name on the day of the incident. This led to the stabbing.
The incident occurred at Victoria South, ECD at about 17:00hrs.
Wilson died on Monday. The suspect is expected to be charged soon.
